The Kiss

This is a painting that I made for my wife as a wedding present.

When we first started dating, we went on a trip and found a photo booth. And everyone knows that young couples must kiss in photo booths. Years later, I was inspired by the works of Chuck Close, and made a reproduction of the small photo booth photo with each individual pixel enlarged so that up close, it looks like blocks of color, but when viewed at a distance, the photo becomes clear.
