Project Description
Very rarely do clients let you push the envelope as far as you can without pulling in the reins, but this is what happens when I get total freedom. The client wanted a gory, over-the-top design that would make even the strongest-willed person queasy. Each piece of “skin” was hand-stitched and stapled to create the look of the site’s header area, with plenty of blood splatter thrown in for good-measure. The image rotator featured multiple frames to create additional layers of movement and excitement, along with CSS animations and transitions. A separate mobile website was built for this project that had the same design feel, but presented the content in a way that was more in line with mobile users’ needs.
